Senior Android Engineer
Bill was a lifelong infrastructure nerd, passionate about making things better, faster and more reliable. With The DevOps world not allowing for much coding time, Bill began developing for Android when it hit the scene. Beyond his own utility apps, Bill has built apps for startups and Fortune 50s alike with contributions to more than a dozen apps in the Play Store. Bill was the co-organizer of the Cincy Android Meetup as well as GDG Cincinnati. He is a Mentor for the GDG Southern Region and enjoys both the teachings and learnings he gets from presenting and participating in these groups.
Lead Android Developer
Tyler is the lead Android developer for Stream, a livestreaming video platform that streams over 200 years of video per month. His team has written integrations on the Stream Android app that allow streaming from GoPro, iVUE glasses, DJI drones, as well as streaming from the devices camera or screen. Tyler got his start in Android during his spare time in college, and built a todo app called MultiList for his first project. Since then, nearly 1 million people have downloaded his apps on the Play Store.
Shawn has been working with computers and creating web pages for over 15 years. He has a bachelor's degree and master's degree in education and a master's degree in information systems. He has worked as a Java Developer for Engility Corporation and is currently a Systems Architect at Blue Acorn. He has a diverse background in education and technology. This combination allows him to teach technology based concepts in a way that promotes student engagement and learning.
Abraham is a UI developer and consultant with Avalon Consulting, LLC. His expertise in interaction design, ability to implement designs in code, and experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise-scale web applications allows him to teach our Agile Scrum Workshop with a point of view from all angles.
After more than three years working in medical billing, Sean decided to change careers and began taking online courses and intensive tutorials. Soon after, Sean landed an apprenticeship with sineLABS and began a new career as a front-end developer. This opportunity helped him land a UI Developer position at Blue Acorn for the last 2 years. Sean is an avid learner and continually seeks to learn new technologies to keep up with the fast-paced environment of web developers.
Tom Wilson started hacking on computers at the early age of 9, has worked as a software developer since the early 90's and has been building large scale and complex healthcare Web applications for over a decade. Tom has given many talks and workshops and is an active member in the Charleston Software Development Community. Tom's knowledge, experience and passion provide a wealth of value for anyone interested in the craft of software development.

Larry Collett is the President & CEO of netGALAXY Studios, a mobile and Web application development company headquartered in downtown Charleston. Mr. Collett has been instrumental in growing the company from a small Web hosting company in 1996 to a full-service mobile application development company with clients ranging of small businesses to enterprise companies, and many others in between.
