Web Basics 105 - The Web Stack

This essential course is the last step in the Web Basics Series and will advance your understanding of web development. In this class you will learn about the technologies that are used to create a functioning website and full scope of the web.

What will I learn?

This final basics course will dive you deeper into web development, allowing students to work towards increasing their knowledge of the full web-stack. Throughout this course you will receive a broad overview of the technologies that are used to create a functioning website. Using the skills you learn in this course, you will be able to take any project and turn it into a fully functioning web app.

Topics Covered:

  • Introduction to the MEAN (Mongo, Express, Angular, Node) stack
  • Understand web requests
  • Create a full-stack webpage with back-end capabilities

Where and when is this class held?

This course will be held 1-day per week for 4-weeks for a total of 4-sessions. Each 2.5 hour session is from 6pm-8:30pm.

This course will be held in FS2 Lab facility (78 Alexander Street) and students are required to bring a laptop.
